This collection is the result of a workshop that took place in an ancient historic site in the heart of the capital Damascus, called “Khan As’ad Pasha Al-Azem,” which is nearly 200 years old. I wanted to showcase the beauty of this place in my artwork, with its rich architecture, realistic portrayal, and connection between the past and present. It is a place filled with spirit. I fell in love with this place despite its age, yet it still pulsates with life.
