Gaby Terzian

Garbis Terzian, known as Gaby, traces his roots back to Beirut, Lebanon, where he was born amidst the challenging backdrop of the Lebanese Civil War. Seeking refuge and new opportunities, he left to Canada in 1987  during the war, embarking on a transformative journey.

For decades, Terzian’s hands crafted intricate jewelry, honing his skills as a master artisan. However, in 2015, his life took an unexpected turn with a cancer diagnosis. Defying the odds, he emerged victorious, imbued with a newfound appreciation for life’s fragility and resilience.

In 2017, drawn by an innate desire for self-expression, he found comfort in the captivating world of art. Surviving cancer instilled in him a profound sense of gratitude and purpose, igniting a passion for creativity that had gone undiscovered.

Since then, Terzian’s artistic journey has flourished, each brushstroke a testament to his unwavering spirit and resilience.

His paintings, born from the depths of his soul, convey a multitude of emotions and experiences, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of introspection.

Through his art, he seeks to capture the essence of life’s complexities, celebrating the beauty found amidst adversity.
